R&B Group win national awards contract
R&B Group are delighted to announce that they will be working with long-standing client the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to produce a series of 11 awards presentations throughout the United Kingdom.
Eight years ago R&B Group provided their technical support for the Renaissance Awards, the RICS’s flagship celebration of building developments in the North-East.
Held in the banqueting suite of Newcastle’s Civic Centre, this gala dinner and awards was quickly recognised as one of the best in the country and it wasn’t long before the company were invited to work on the equivalent events in the neighbouring regions of Yorkshire & Humber and the North West.
In 2013, following a successful tendering process, R&B Group were appointed the sole event production contractor for all 11 national events during April and May, followed by the Grand Final later in the year. The contract will see the firm visiting venues from Somerset to Edinburgh and Belfast to Chelmsford.
With several of these events staged on consecutive days and even some on the same day it promises to be a busy time for the team at R&B Group.
However, with their dedicated Project Managers and extensive AV equipment resources this leading event production business will rise to the challenge using the opportunity to demonstrate to the rest of the country their exceptional standards and creative flair for projects such as this.
Fittingly, the first event of the series will be held in Newcastle on 19th April, with all other regions completed in just 4 weeks.
By appointing a single company to produce the events RICS will ensure a consistent portrayal of their brand identity for the events throughout the country, whilst deriving several economies of scale on bespoke set items and on-screen graphical content; all of which will be produced by R&B Group using in-house resources.
Antony Crerar, Director at R&B Group said “We have really enjoyed working on these events over the years, and this represents a major opportunity for us.
“The team at RICS trust us to bring their ideas together, and are always looking for new and innovative solutions. We will be introducing some changes for the awards this year but you will have to wait to find out what they are!”
