Digital Challenge 2013 launched at major FTTH conference
The 2013 edition of the Next Generation Digital Challenge awards programme was announced today at the 10th annual FTTH Council Europe conference in London’s docklands.
This is the first time that this massive conference has visited London and the first time that the Digital Challenge award programme has extended beyond the UK with a special focus on Intelligent Cities.
The Open Call for nominations closes on March 29th and this year welcomes a far wider range of entries to celebrate the diversity of innovations and investments in the Digital Economy and their impacts on everyday life.
Marit Hendriks, founding director of NG Events, welcomed the 2013 programme and said, “This year’s extension of the Next Generation Digital Challenge to include international exemplars reflects a turning point in the UK’s understanding of the need to learn from and collaborate with advanced developers of digital infrastructure.”
The awards programme will announce short-listed nominations in June and an independent panel will judge the selected Finalists in September. The awards will be presented at the prestigious NextGen13 conference dinner in London on October 14th.

The Next Generation Digital Challenge Awards programme is managed by Groupe Intellex in association with NG Events Ltd. Further details can be found here.
