AOMi posts strong growth for 2012
Service operations firm AOMi reported group revenues of £13.5m for the year ending March 2012, with revenues overseas outperforming expectations.
The company advocates a method of operations management called AOM, or Active Operations Management, that allocates the right workload to a compamy’s employees and allows enough time to complete the work.
AOMi says this method addresses the biggest cause of low production levels, and eases the burden placed on staff.
Revenues in the UK rose by 95% to £8.4m for the Reading-based company as a result of AOMi’s globalisation plans and additional market sectors added on to the firm’s offering in the UK and New Zealand especially.
Strong growth in South Africa and North America was reported along with positive signs of growth in India and the Middle East for the coming 12 months.
UK profits rose to £2.9m from £1.8m last year, although profit margins did narrow slightly as a result of new partnerships with Tier One consultancies.
AOMi was granted the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade at the start of this financial year for its contribution to the UK economy.
