Regional Growth Fund deadline approaches
The deadline for Regional Growth Fund (RGF) fourth round applications looms, and SMEs are urged to apply for their share of £350m.
Applications for the fourth tranche of money will close at midday on March 20, as over 1,100 grants have already been handed to SMEs through RGF programmes.
John Walker, national chairman of the FSB, urged small firms to take a closer look at the benefits of RGF funding.
The Deputy Prime Minister said: “Up and down the country, the Regional Growth Fund is investing in companies that can create jobs and attract substantial match-funding from the private sector. For every pound of government money, the private sector is putting in six pounds.”
The Government has recently announced the signing of nine final offer letter with companies from Round 3 of the fund, ahead of its April 19 deadline.
