Morgan Sindall makes two key Yorkshire appointments
Leading UK construction and infrastructure company Morgan Sindall has made two key appointments at the firm’s Leeds office.
Mark Powell has joined Morgan Sindall as an operations manager. His role incorporates overseeing control of all site activities across the region and he is working closely with senior directors to help further develop the business across Yorkshire and the North East.
Mark Millar has joined as a building services manager. His role includes working with the firm’s supply chain and pre-construction department to provide support to the operational teams across the region.
Chris Brown, area director at Morgan Sindall, said: “We are pleased to have both Mark Powell and Mark Millar on board. Their expertise and genuine depth of knowledge of the construction industry will stand us in good stead as we grow our business in Yorkshire and the North East.
“We are currently undertaking some exciting projects and have several on the horizon – the new appointments will help us to meet our customers’ needs and ensure Morgan Sindall’s workforce is well-catered for.”
Morgan Sindall is currently on site delivering the £19.2 million St Mary’s College campus, and is undertaking phase two of the Kingswood Academy and Andrew Marvell College schemes, all of which are part of the £400 million Hull Building Schools for the Future (BSF) scheme.
The firm is also on site completing the £6.1 million management building for the University of Sheffield and delivering two remodelling and extension contracts for Coca-Cola Enterprises in Wakefield.
