North West Advertising Agency Launches Specialist Healthcare Company
Foundry Communications has launched Foundry Healthcare - a specialist division offering a new kind of multi-audience, multi-channel service to human and animal healthcare brands.
The healthcare sector is changing as patient-power grows. Ever more diverse audiences influence treatment and medication choices, which means that brands must find new ways to reach new customers.
Foundry Healthcare has a new approach that engages all relevant stakeholders, typically combining social media with strategy, advertising with web development, video production with internal communications, event and exhibition work with brand creation and corporate ID design.
The agency’s specialised intelligence-gathering resources include nurse panels and regular encounters with lay and professional audiences.
The new healthcare division is divided into two areas: the pet care and veterinary sector, led by Will English and human healthcare, headed up by Zoe Buckley.
Cheshire-based Foundry Communications was founded in 1998 and has won many international and healthcare-specific awards including the New York Festivals, PMEA, The Globals, The International Summit, The IPA, The Rx Club, and the Veterinary Marketing Award.
Closer to home it was named the number one UK digital agency in the RAR Awards 2010. Clients including Reckitt Benckiser, British Dental Health Foundation, Dechra Veterinary Products, Salts Healthcare, Mölnlycke Health Care, Crawford Healthcare and Synergy Healthcare.
Kevin Murphy, managing director at The Foundry, says, “Launching a healthcare division will help us to better service existing clients in the sector. It’s a key market for us, having been our focus for almost 20 years.
“We will help our clients engage with patients through online user groups and patient networks while retaining the connections they have with professionals in the sector.”
