Bristol Street Motors dealership gets customer satisfaction award

The team at Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Chesterfield has been rewarded with a national accolade for going the extra mile after customers rated the dealership as among the best in the country.

The Chatsworth Road dealership was presented with the Vauxhall Customer Excellence Award after being named as one of the 50 top-rated Vauxhall dealerships for 2012.

The annual award by the British manufacturer recognises and rewards top performing retailers for the quality of service they give to their customers, using only customer satisfaction as the judging criteria.

Bill Baldry, Vauxhall’s General Motors Europe Global Supply and Logistics Manager, presented General Manager Mike Herring with the award at Vauxhall Chesterfield.

Mike said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be named as one of the UK’s best Vauxhall dealerships for customer service and would like to thank all of our customers for helping us to secure this fantastic award.

“When a customer visits our dealership, they can feel confident that they will be receiving truly dedicated customer service and that our team members will go the extra mile to ensure they are happy. We are so committed to customer care, we’ll be doing our very best to ensure that we score even higher next year.”

The Chesterfield dealership had among the highest combined scores from Vauxhall’s Purchase Satisfaction and Service Satisfaction surveys, calculated at the end of 2012 from more than 40,000 customer responses, complied both after purchase and after the first service.

Bill said: “At Vauxhall, we recognise that Chesterfield has gone that extra mile to help our customers and make their purchasing and servicing experiences as positive as possible; the award really is a representation of the hard work that’s gone into their consistent standards and all round high performance.”

To recognise their outstanding effort, Chesterfield was presented with a plaque to display at the dealership and a special logo will be placed next to their name in the Vauxhall dealer locator, in addition to receiving commemorative badges for all colleagues.
