Middlesbrough trailer company in global demand following investment
A Middlesbrough trailer company has enjoyed global demand for its fleet following a £1.8m investment in the business.
Tees Valley Trailers, the trailer arm of logistics firm firm AV Dawson, has seen their products dispatched regularly to Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Burma.
The company has seen its initial rental fleet more than double from 100 to 250 in the eight years since its launch.
Tees Valley Trailers sell and hire out fully serviced commercial large goods vehicle trailers.
Trailers can be hired on a long or short terms basis and new equipment can be sourced for long term contracts.
The fleet includes stepframe double decks, curtainsiders, flats with full specification, extenders and bulk tippers.
TVT, based at Riverside Park in Middlesbrough, works with small and large businesses across the country, mainly in the logistics industries.
Gary Dawson, director of Tees Valley Trailers, said: “We’re continuing to go from strength-to-strength.
“After a period of cautious growth, a recent investment of more than £1.8m has significantly increased the number and variety of trailers available for hire.
“We’ve also undergone a substantial refurbishment programme to ensure that our trailers are exactly what our customers need.
“An excellent effort by the commercial team headed by David Ormston and Jon Lambert has resulted not only in an improvement in the quality of our trailer stock, but also a substantial improvement in the quality and depth of our customer base.”
