Agile MD sleeps rough for Charity
Agile Group Managing Director Simon Scotchbrook took part in a Charity event to sleep rough along with 35 other Business Leaders in Middlesbrough on Saturday night.
The event, organised by Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation, was aimed at raising awareness of the issue of increasing homelessness as seen on Teesside. Two events were held simultaneously, one at Middlesbrough F.C’s Riverside Stadium and the other at Stockton College. The Riverside Stadium event saw Business Leaders of the North East conregate whilst the Stockton College event saw over 100 volunteers take part.
Of the event itself, Simon said “I am happy to support the Foundation and help to raise awareness of this horric issue on our doorstep. I did this for one night but there are people having to do this everynight and it is awful to see”.
Donations can still be made to the charity. By texting TEES02 to 70070 you will be donating £5.
