Newcastle manufacturer heads to Vegas
Newcastle-based specialist high voltage coil manufacturers, Houghton International, are taking their products to Las Vegas for an industry showcase.
The company will demonstrate their high voltage coils at the 2013 EASA Convention at the Mandalay Bar Resort.
It follows a major investment programme from Houghton which has doubled capacity and allowed them to secure a significant British Standard for occupational health and safety.
CEO Michael Mitten said: “Our strategy to develop international markets is resulting in increasing demand from a number of key markets including North and South America. Our attendance at the 2012 EASA Convention resulted in a record number of orders and also enabled us to obtain valuable feedback to further develop our products and services.
“We look forward to meeting both existing and potential customers at this year’s Convention and the favourable exchange rate for our international customers will enable us to provide even better value for money.”
