Thomsons Online Benefits celebrates double corporate adviser win

Thomsons Online Benefits, the UK’s leading employee benefits provider, is celebrating after adding five more awards to its tally, including the prestigious “Corporate Adviser” Firm of the year award at both the Corporate Adviser and Money Marketing Financial Services Awards 2013.

Judges at the Corporate Adviser awards commented: “Thomsons Online Benefits is a corporate adviser on fire right now. Its submission demonstrated strong ongoing investment in its proposition which is clearly showing results, as evidenced by an impressive net promoter score and strong business growth.” They added that Thomsons had a “future vision… as a truly global benefits and technology player” and already operated “in 45 countries around the globe” with a “client list including most of the world’s top 10 technology companies”. They concluded that Thomsons “advanced position in technology meant it is able to deliver key parts of the benefits process more cheaply and efficiently than its peers”.

Michael Whitfield, Chief Executive Officer of Thomsons Online Benefits comments: “I am delighted with the excellent start we have had to 2013 after the news of our investment from US private equity firm ABRY, seeing our first clients go live with our auto-enrolment proposition, and picking up five more awards to boot.”

“We all know that 2013 will be a challenging year for the Corporate Adviser market following the combination of auto-enrolment and the Retail Distribution Review. However, we believe that there still massive opportunities in this market and that auto-enrolment only heightens the need of employers to help them understand and implement benefit programmes and to engage their employees in the process. We believe that continued success can only be garnered by investing heavily in developing our Darwin technology and recruiting the brightest and best talent.”
