Dr Federico Carpi of Queen Mary University of London will be opening the UK’s premier medical device conference at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena with a fascinating insight into his world-leading work with ‘active smart materials’ that are being used to create artificial muscles to renew patients’ sight and for the next generation of orthotics.
Extra places are now available for Dr Carpi’s presentation from www.mtiexpo-uk.com, where a full programme of the specialist talks on offer at Med-Tech Innovation Expo UK 2013 (MTI Expo) on 10 and 11 April 2013 can also be found. Colin Martin, Director of MedTech Communications Ltd, publisher of Med-Tech Innovation and organiser of the event, said: “Aimed at design engineers and the broader research and development community, every presentation has been hand-picked for the valuable insight and knowledge about the global medical technology market it will provide.
