Marketing agency aims to unlock B2B potential
A new hybrid marketing agency hoping to unlock the region’s B2B potential has launched in the North East.
The Eight aims to help businesses achieve the best return on investment from their marketing and will establish ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions for specific sectors.
The company, set up by Eve Whitaker from South Shields, aims to help B2B businesses reach their full potential through inbound marketing and strategic consultancy.
The Eight work to align sales and marketing, by creating strategies and plans for businesses in order for them to garner loyal customers through engaging and valuable communications.
The core team consists of managing director Eve, director Neil Robbins and account director Sally Hart, supported by a larger team of experienced marketers, creative designers, project managers, social media team, SEO team, affiliate marketing teams, content managers and developers.
Eve has spent 20 years working internationally with agencies and clients including, Nike, Prada, The New York Times and Marks & Spencer.
After relocating back to the North East from London and chose to develop The Eight after witnessing an abundance of marketing that was going to waste.
She said: “I knew that there was a better way so I wanted to set up an agency that didn’t create waste and instead created marketing for the customer, and got results by being outcome focused rather than output driven.
“More than anything I want to inspire people to reach their personal and business potential.”
The Eight is due to launch its new ‘lunch and learn’ sessions for specific sectors including manufacturing, engineering, professional services, education and training over the coming months and also has its book club to share insight from key business titles.
The company will also be supporting businesses from across the region to further maximise their return on investment during its Essential B2B Marketing Forum at the Live Theatre in Newcastle on Thursday June 20 2013.
