Entrepreneur calls for region to unite behind review
Jeremy Middleton, who is a Board Member of the North East LEP and runs £50m investment fund Middleton Enterprises, said: “The vision is to grow and fortify the private sector. Focusing on strengthening the North East’s advanced manufacturing industries will result in an increased number of highly skilled and highly paid jobs, which is in absolutely everyone’s interest.
“That’s why I’m calling for everyone in the region from all political parties and all parts of the region to back the recommendations of this review, which is an honest, comprehensive and shrewd analysis of the North East’s economy. We can build a stronger regional economy if all leaders pull in the same direction and make it happen.”
