Hunt is on for the best technology startups
The Thinking Digital Startup Competition is on the lookout for the best technology startups and small businesses.
Now in its second year, the competition invites technology startups to enter and be judged by a renowned industry panel and a 500 strong voting audience at the Thinking Digital Conference in Gateshead.
Up to 10 companies will be shortlisted to give a 3 minute startup pitch to the judges, and the top two startups will advance to the final, to be held live at the Conference.
Paul Lancaster of Sage One said: “The Sage One team are huge fans of Thinking Digital, which is a hotbed for creativity, collaboration and innovation. Championing enterprise is at the heart of Sage
“One and we’re well aware of the huge entrepreneurial talent rife throughout the UK. Unearthing
and supporting this talent is something we are always keen to invest in and we’re looking forward to seeing the finalists pitching on stage in the Thinking Digital competition.“
Herb Kim of Thinking Digital said: “For a conference that’s about ‘technology, ideas & our future’ it’s essential to us that we embrace technology startups and all they are doing for the future of Britain.
We’re elated to have the support this year of Sage, one of the most successful startups that the UK has ever produced and a leader in understanding the needs of businesses to help them grow.“
Each shortlisted company will receive a free registration to the Thinking Digital Livecast Lounge, and a free 12-month licence for Sage One’s accounts software, as well as expert presentation coaching.
The competition runs until 5pm on April 30, and those interested in entering should visit this address.
