Tax team strengthened by Midlands accountants
A major firm of accountants has strengthened its tax team with the appointment of a leading specialist.
Baldwins, based in Walsall, has recruited Mike Brown as an additional Tax Director.
Brown (48) has moved from Yorkshire to Baldwins which has 10 offices including Willenhall, Stourbridge, Tamworth, Coventry and Leamington.
He said: “Baldwins is a successful and expanding firm with a really good reputation both in terms of its expertise and its customer care.”
“I will be advising clients on the tax implications around a wide range of topics including wealth creation, succession, capital allowances and research and development, in addition to corporate finance transactions involving buying and selling companies, reorganisations and management buy outs.”
Brown was educated at Newcastle University and trained with Deloitte. He has three teenage children and is a keen rugby union fan.
John Baldwin, founder of Baldwins, said: “Efficient tax advice is essential both for companies and individuals and Mike is extremely experienced in the field. We are delighted he has joined us and will be a very useful addition to the existing Baldwins tax team.”
