North East agency achieves national recognition

An independent survey carried out by leading marketing publication The Drum has placed creative agency Guerilla within the top 50 UK design agencies. The Drum Design 100 is the authoritative guide to the top design agencies and Guerilla is the only agency from the North East to make it in to the top 100.

The list reviews the vast range of design talent Britain has to offer and provides an insightful, comprehensive guide to the best agencies nationally. The report includes a financial poll, as well as a client poll and peer review.

James Allen, Managing Director, Guerilla said, “We are delighted to be recognised as one of the top 100 design agencies in the UK. Whilst we are the only agency from the North East to be listed within the top 100, it does help to draw attention to the vast creative talent that can be found across our region”.

In addition to the Design 100, Guerilla has also been nominated in the Drum Marketing awards for Global Brand Strategy of the Year for the creation of the Benu brand, developed for European pharmaceutical giant the Phoenix group. A further nomination is for New Product/Service Launch Strategy of the Year for the En-gage digital signage solution, which is now seen in over 500 retail outlets.

Competition to win the awards is tough and Guerilla will be competing against some huge campaigns for well known brands including Glenmorangie, The Scottish Government, Telfonica, Douwe Egberts, Lovefilm, McCain and Samsung to name but a few.

Guerilla’s integrated and hard-hitting campaign for client Dentist Direct has also been shortlisted as a finalist for Best Press Campaign at the 2013 Roses awards, which will be announced on 2nd of May in Manchester.
