Teesside marketing specialist helps businesses drive sales

A North East marketing manager will be sharing her tips for business success next week (April 25th) at a special event being held in Stockton.

Bridget Charlton MCIM, marketing manager at Simon Bailes Peugeot, will be delivering a presentation for The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) entitled “Driving Sales”.

The event, which takes place at Simon Bailes Peugeot’s Stockton dealership, will explore how the business has adopted new technologies to enhance its reputation, create public relations opportunities, reduce costs and grow the business by driving sales leads.

Bridget, who has worked with Simon Bailes Peugeot for over 10 years and is a team member of the CIM Durham Tees valley branch, will discuss how they have used different tactics to improve sales and marketing opportunities and share her experiences of working in the industry.

Bridget said: “Marketing has changed such as lot in the last couple of years and businesses do need to constantly adopt more sophisticated techniques to stay ahead of their game. I was really pleased to be invited by the CIM to share my experiences and hopefully I’ll be able to offer people practical tips from the motor industry that can be adapted into a variety of sectors.”

Simon Bailes Peugeot is the North East’s longest established Peugeot dealership network with showrooms and body shops in Guisborough, Stockton-on-Tees and Northallerton.

The Driving Sales event is part of a series of development and networking events being held by the CIM in the Durham Tees Valley region and takes place on April 25th at 6pm at Simon Bailes Peugeot, Stockton Riverside.
