Wakefield screen providers make £160,000 investment

Wakefield’s Media Displays has invested £160,000 in two large screen digital vans for outdoor events.

The digital screens will be used to stream live and pre-recorded footage to a wider audience.

Media Displays was founded by Ian Taylor in 2004, who appeared on Dragons’ Den in 2010 and received an offer from James Caan of £80,000.

Ian Taylor, founder and managing director, comments “The investment in these new products means that we can offer the world’s largest mobile, digital advertising screens. Each product fits a specific purpose or occasion and our new 19m2 screens will provide event organisers, particularly local authorities who host events, a screen suitable for crowds up to 20,000. We’re already looking forward to the summer months when there’s an increase in outdoor events and expect to see a rise in sales due to these new super-sized screens. “

“Through our mobile, digital screens we’re able to offer the complete package. Our in-house design team can create pre-produced footage and we can also film live content streaming this direct to the screens.

“These new 19m2 screens are also very easy to deploy, they can be located and elevated without any additional substructures, avoiding scaffolding and the impact this can create to health and safety.”
