Entrepreneurs launch new digital marketing agency

The founders of search engine optimisation company, SEONext, have added to their digital portfolio with the launch of a new multi-service internet marketing agency.

The brainchild of entrepreneurs, Justin Blackhurst, 31, Mark Blackhurst, 35, and Vaibhav Kakkar, 30, Digital Next – which has been billed as a ‘next generation digital services provider’ – was unveiled at this year’s Internet World symposium. The launch follows a year of extensive development and planning, as well as registration with the Information Commissioner, to ensure the security of the company’s data.

The new agency will serve as a parent company to rapidly expanding digital brand, SEONext – broadening the search engine optimisation specialist’s suite of services to include email, PPC, AdWords and affiliate marketing, web-design, e-commerce, social media management and digital brand development.

Explaining the vision and strategy behind Digital Next, Justin Blackhurst, co-founder and managing director, said: “Digital Next is a natural and organic step in the development of the SEONext brand. It’s a product of demand from our current clients and end users for a much broader range of digital services than just traditional SEO. We envisage Digital Next’s client roster to be made up of SMEs, looking to take advantage of our technologies and expertise, but we’re also hoping to be a one-stop-shop for other marketing professionals and digital agencies.”

Digital Next aims to help companies take advantage of the opportunities available online and claim valuable real estate on emerging digital platforms. The Blackhursts already have solid credentials in the online marketing arena – SEONext reported a staggering growth rate of well over 500 per cent in its second year of trading (2010/2011), with a turnover of £1.6 million in 2012.

Mark Blackhurst, co-founder and director, commented: “We want to equip businesses with the cutting edge digital services and products that they need to fuel their growth from the bottom up. Optimised hosting, website, design and build, SEO, social media – these are all areas that must be at the forefront of any forward thinking business. The message we really want to push now, is that modern business is about the marriage of a brand with the optimisation of a digital presence.”

As part of the launch, Digital Next is set to unveil a call tracking service, AdTronix, which will track what keywords convert into business and trace the origin of sales leads. The company has also taken on five new employees at its Manchester headquarters in the Sharp Project and supplemented its team with the creation of a coding division, to help give the business the manpower and technical skill-set necessary to compete at the very top of the digital sector.

Justin added: “We’ve invested significantly in the development of Digital Next and its ongoing success. SEONext has carved out a fantastic position in the marketplace over the last four years, but that doesn’t mean we can afford to be complacent. In the fast paced digital world it’s either do or die – and we have every intention of making Digital Next a global brand.”
