Snorkel appoints new distributor in Bulgaria
Snorkel has appointed Hyster Bulgaria OOD us its exclusive distributor in Bulgaria.
Hyster Bulgaria is already the authorised dealer for Hyster Europe, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of materials handling equipment.?
The company head office and main warehouse is in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia. It also has a presence in Veliko Tarnovo to the north; Varna on the east coast; and Stara Zagora to the south.
Hyster Bulgaria sells and services all Hyster products, ranging from hand-pallet trucks to 52 ton capacity shipping container handlers. The company prides itself on its service offering – all customer service and repair needs are met within four hours of receiving the initial enquiry.
As well has holding an impressive stock of spare parts, Hyster Bulgaria also offers machine rental, finance packages and a buy-back scheme for pre-owned equipment. Prestigious customers include Pepsi, Coca-Cola and the Port of Varna.
Ivaylo Ivanov, Sales Manager for Hyster Bulgaria, said: “We identified aerial lifts as a good sister product to sell into our existing customer base for materials handling equipment.
“We researched the market and decided that Snorkel was the best fit for our business. Snorkel really believes in the dealer model and supports its distributors; plus it has a very comprehensive product range.

Snorkel worked with Hyster Bulgaria throughout 2012, before confirming the company as our official distributor at the International Technical Fair held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, last September.
