Royal Quays ?presents? the Gift Company

Business is all ‘wrapped’ up for well-known furniture store, The Gift Company, as it opens at the Royal Quays Outlet Centre, in North Shields.

Established in 1995, the company prides itself on selling quality furniture and home accessories at very reasonable prices.

The Gift Company’s store manager, Ashleigh Williams, said: “Royal Quays is a fantastic location for us as we continue to develop our outlet stores. We are surrounded by both independent stores and famous brands, which complements our offering.

“We sell a range of oak and pine furniture as well as accessories such as jewellery, metal plaques, and candle holders which are popular with customers.

“The Centre attracts tourists as well as local shoppers and we have received great support from the Centre Manager, Judith Ramshaw, when moving into the premises.”

Judith Ramshaw, said: “It is fantastic for us to add another great name to the collection of stores that we have on site. The store is already proving popular and we will continue to support the team as they settle into the Centre.”

Royal Quays has 50 stores which employ around 500 staff, making it an important employment hub for the North Tyneside area.

It is home to a number of top brands offering up to 60% off RRP such as Marks & Spencer Outlet, Nike Factory Store, Gap Outlet, Collectables Outlet, Clarks, Next and Mountain Warehouse, along with a vast range of local, independent retailers specialising in areas such as sport, fashion, jewellery, music and electrical items.

As well as attracting famous brands, since it was opened in 1996, Royal Quays has achieved great success in assisting local retailers looking to get to the next stage of their development.
