The Market Creative launches Sharps living

The Market Creative is launching a new division of Sharps, which will see the leading bedroom specialist enter the living room furniture market.

For the first time Sharps will complement its made-to-measure fitted furniture, offering a range of modular living room pieces including media and storage cabinets, sideboards, coffee tables and sofas. Customers will be able to mix and match different units and colours from a range of eight styles.

The Market Creative has appraised Sharps’ brand values and architecture to incorporate the new offering and entry into the modular furniture market. ‘Sharps living’ will follow the same brand identity as the company’s bedroom and home office ranges. The Market Creative has created new exterior signage and in-store materials as well as developed the launch campaign, which includes press advertising, direct marketing, door drops and POS.

Sue Benson, managing director at The Market Creative said: “Sharps living will follow the same look and feel as the bedroom and office furniture. However this is the first time that the messaging will move away from the ‘made-to-measure’ market. While the new products will be modular, Sharps customers can rest assured that they will come with the same high standards of service with delivery and installation all taken care of.”

Tim Moore, Marketing Director at Sharps Bedrooms added: “We are eager to reinforce our position in the home furniture market by widening our appeal and entering new categories. We’ve just successfully relaunched our home office division, which is already proving successful and it’s a natural step for us to enter the living room. The range is contemporary, colourful and stylish, and sure to bring a breath of fresh air into any living space.”

‘Sharps living’ is being trialled in two showrooms (Baker Street and Bromley) before being rolled out nationwide if successful. The new range is also available at sharps.co.uk
