AMS achievements recognised with SC2 supply chain award

Analox Military Systems has been presented with the SC21 Bronze Award as recognition of its achievements in on-time delivery, quality and sustainable improvement.

Vicky Brown, Sales and Marketing Director for Analox Military Systems, and Craig Baker, Quality and HSE Manager, were presented with the award by Neil McManus, Chairman of SC21 Industry Steering group, at the SC21 Task Force Conference, at Bristol University.

Analox Military Systems (AMS), a division of Analox Ltd, has participated in the SC21 programme – a military-led change programme designed to accelerate UK supply chain competitiveness – since December 2010. The bronze award acknowledges the company’s achievement of 98% on-time deliveries, and 99.1% quality performance over a 12 month period, and its implementation of a framework for sustainable improvement, including undertaking an EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Determining Excellence assessment.

Vicky Brown said: “We’re very proud of our continued achievements across the company, and the SC21 programme has helped drive the improvements. Quality and on-time deliveries are valued greatly by clients, and our successes in these areas are helping Analox Military Systems’ business to grow, not just in the UK but around the world. We have set ourselves targets to improve further in the future, in line with the SC21 framework, and are committed to continuously demonstrating world-class business performance.”

SC21 (National Action Plan for 21st Century Supply Chains) was launched in response to international competition and the challenges posed by the defence industry strategy. Aerospace and defence industries acknowledged that competitiveness relies on rapid improvement in the effectiveness of supply chains, ensuring faultless products and on-time delivery. The programme also recognises the need for competitive solutions for customers whilst maintaining profitable and healthy growing businesses in the supply chain.

Analox Military Systems is a division of Analox Group which is based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. Analox specialises in the design and manufacture of gas analysers for military and commercial use.
