National energy efficiency solutions company Anesco has received a prestigious BVCA award and recognition as an outstanding example of a venture capital-backed firm.

Anesco has been named venture capital backed management team of the year for the south east region, as part of the BVCA Management Team Awards 2013. The award recognises management teams who have made an outstanding contribution to the development and growth of a venture-backed company, demonstrating strategic vision and helping to successfully develop the business.

Anesco is a national company dedicated to helping homeowners, local authorities and businesses reduce their carbon emissions. The company is approved as a Green Deal Provider and has been recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing private companies.

As a regional winner, the company will now go forward to a national final being held in London on 4 July.

Adrian Pike, CEO of Anesco, said: “We’re delighted to win this award and for our team to receive such high profile recognition for their efforts. We have pulled together a strong and experienced team, with the knowledge and drive to take the company forward. It is down to their vision and dedication that the business continues to exceed all expectations.”

Gary le Sueur, partner at Scottish Equity Partners said: “This award is fantastic recognition for the hard work and dedication of the team at Anesco. The company continues to lead the way in energy efficiency and we’re delighted to support the business as it goes from strength to strength.”
