Leading retailer launches online range for youngsters
Design-savvy youngsters can have a bedroom to be proud of thanks to a new range of children’s furniture being introduced by Birmingham retailer Lee Longlands.
Available exclusively online through the store’s newly-launched e-commerce site, it is the first time in 15 years the leading retailer has launched a range specifically for the younger generation.
The collection appeals to all ages and features a range of beds with wardrobes, storage cupboards and desks, packed with design features which are both attractive to look at and useful to have.
Director at Lee Longlands, Robert Lee, said the store’s well-known Nursery department and Rompas children’s play room closed 35 years ago, and the store had last stocked children’s furniture in 1997.
Mr Lee said: “We’re delighted once again to be offering a range of stylish furniture which appeals to children and teenagers. Today’s youngsters are looking for stylish bedrooms, they don’t just want the themed bed-linen or the posters on the wall, and this range will appeal to them and to parents with an eye for design and value for money.
“The collection offers the chance to create a light and airy bedroom with maximum storage, expertly designed hideaways to make the most of available space in children’s rooms.
“The space under the bed in our new range isn’t just for hiding in! In fact, many of our beds have storage built in, with the range including cabin, single and mezzanine beds, which may the most of the height available in the room.
“Whether the room is for sleeping, playing, doing homework or playing computer games, the extensive collection offers a multitude of options to fit any size of room and any desired style.”

The range includes the Fizz collection, which combines simplicity with style and is designed to appeal to teenagers’ sense of style with its clean lines and cleverly arranged functionalities.
Also on offer its the Pop range, which blends metal, wood and plexi-glass together with ingenious features and maximised storage perfect for older children and teens and the Fun collection which offers a range of space saving options to keep clutter off the floor.
