Artez secures Liverpool and Leeds contracts
Bolton-based construction firm, Artez has secured contracts for two new projects in Leeds and Liverpool.
The firm has been appointed to work on the refurbishment and outfitting of Leeds’ Brewery Wharf as well as civil engineering works in the Mersey Tunnel, Liverpool.
Work will begin in Leeds later this month after Artez was appointed by the client’s agent, Munroe White Hilton.
The project will include alterations, refurbishment and the fit out of commercial space on the second and third floor of the building.
Engineering works, including concreting and builder’s works, will begin on the Mersey Tunnel within the next two weeks, following previous project completions for the client, Sudlows.
Artez was established in 2010 by Mike Banton, who previously directed regeneration business, Urban Splash, in a bid to offer a service that looks after all aspects of the construction scheme process.
Mr Banton commented: “We are thrilled that our reputation is increasing as one of the North West’s fastest growing construction businesses with the latest appointments being testament to this.
“The project wins in Leeds and Merseyside demonstrate that we provide a specialist but competitive service throughout the North for clients who are looking for expert knowledge within of a wide variety of works.
“Artez uses its understanding of the client, contractor and consultants’ needs to save our clients cost and time in a challenging industry whilst also increasing the quality of the work carried out.”
