Durham fuel provider makes £10.4m acquisition
Durham’s Hargreaves Services plc, a supplier of bulk materials and solid fuels, has bought assets to the value of £10.4m from the liquidators of Aardvark Limited.
The move is part of a large restructuring of Hargreaves’ business which CEO, Gordon Banham, said has saved or created 230 jobs.
Hargreaves has been able to continue operations are two operations at Aardvark’s two operational sites, Netherton and Duncanziemere.
The firm source materials and fuels from across three continents and provide them to industry via a network of depots and over 400 vehicles in the UK.
