Sunderland letting agency takes business national

A rapidly growing letting agency are taking on new pastures as the business expands into the South East.

KIS Lettings are taking their company national as they open their first premises outside of the North East, in Welwyn Garden City.

The company already manages properties for over 700 landlords from branches in Sunderland, South Shields and North Shields.

Headed by married couple Kevin and Petra Harris, KIS Lettings Welwyn will offer KIS’ services to southern landlords for the first time.

Kevin Harris added: “We’ve seen firsthand how many South East landlords are crying out for an efficient, effective and transparent lettings agency they can really trust – especially the so-called ‘accidental landlords’ who have become property entrepreneurs as a result of the economic downturn rather than by design, and we think the KIS approach offers them that.

“With our second child due later this year, this really is an exciting time for our family and our business, and we can’t wait to get started offering the world class service to the landlords of Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield that KIS has offered the North East.”

KIS Lettings ask renters to nominate a family member or friend to guarantee their rent rather than asking for a deposit on a property.

Every new KIS tenant also gets a free Home Move Box of and cleaning products as soon as they move in, helping them feel at home as fast as possible.

KIS Managing Director and founder Ajay Jagota said: “KIS Lettings is a real success story for the North East where our innovative approach has proved a real hit with landlords and tenants alike.

“It’s really exciting for us to be expanding our business into other parts of the country with Kevin And Petra joining our team and taking our revolutionary approach to the rest of the UK– not to mention a real sign that innovative businesses focussed on offering a first class service to their customers can thrive even in tough times like these.”
