Live Theatre's The Schoolhouse takes a starring role
The Schoolhouse, a building recently redeveloped by Live Theatre into a new hub for creative businesses, is having its first public appearance featuring in its current play, Live Witness.
Live Witness, commissioned as part of the Theatre’s 40th birthday celebrations, has been developed by directors Annie Rigby and Amy Golding who interviewed actors, staff and other people associated with Live Theatre to pull their stories together. The promenade performance takes the audience on a tour to places that they don’t normally visit such as the dressing rooms and backstage and shares secrets and tall tales from the building and company’s history. Live Witness is on nightly at 6.30pm and 9pm until Saturday 25 May (Except Sunday and Monday).
