TJ Hughes revamp online business
Liverpool-established retailer TJ Hughes last week launched a new ecommerce store, which has been redesigned and re-platformed.
The store hopes to rejuvenate its online business after it launched its first ecommerce platform in 2009 with Liverpool digital agency, YOMA.
TJ Hughes has expanded its online product range and hopes the new website will provide a better experience for its loyal customers.
The store, which first launched in Liverpool in 1925, suggested that ecommerce will play a key role in the business’ future, and expressed a hope that its new website will offer a more competitive edge with rival retailers.
Martin Fisher, head of ecommerce at TJ Hughes, commented: “The launch of the new website marks a new chapter for TJ Hughes online.
“Ecommerce is now a huge focus for the business and is key to the continued success of the TJ Hughes brand in the future.
“TJ Hughes are extremely pleased to announce the launch of our new online store which represents months of hard work by all involved, and we hope the site is well received by TJ Hughes customers.”
Alex Ormandy, commercial director at YOMA added: “Our creative, technical and integration teams worked collectively with TJ Hughes to successfully deliver a website that portrayed the business’s vision and ambition for the future.”
