North West construction firm, Artez, has announced a five-fold rise in its turnover in its latest financial report.
Revenues increased to £1.96m, while profits also rose from £58,000 to £236,000, and the company expanded its workforce from 2 full-time staff to 6.
Artez also celebrated its recent move to a larger premises in its original base of Bolton alongside these latest results.
Mike Banton, who founded the firm in 2010, commented: “I’m delighted with how we’ve performed and the way we’ve accelerated sales so greatly.
“We’ve continued to win a diverse range of projects because we’ve carved out a reputation as being different.
“We have been able to find a niche that helps us cater for the requirements of the property industry as it continues to battle against the ongoing challenges of the macro economic environment.”
Mr Banton said his focus will be on growing the business further over the next year, with a projected turnover of approximately £2.6m for the year.
He said: “I hold very high hopes for 2013 after the year we’ve just completed … I look forward to forging new contacts and working in new areas of the country in the future.”
Artez clients include big names such as Network Rail, with whom they worked on London’s Victoria Station, as well as projects such as the Odeon cinema in Bradford and Mapeley Estates’ Albert Bridge House project in Manchester.
