Growing letting agency acquires property company
An expanding North East letting agency is continuing to grow after acquiring another property company.
The Castledene Group, based in Easington, County Durham, has bought Property Finders North East Ltd.
Castledene Group, one of the largest letting agencies in the region, was advised on the deal by Clive Owen Corporate Finance in Darlington, headed up by Angus Allan.
The deal is part of an overall strategy to continue developing the property portfolio of the business.
John Paul, managing director at The Castledene Group said: “We are delighted with the completion of this deal.

The Castledene Group has been operating in the North East since 2008 and has more than 2,000 properties under management in its portfolio.
The firm has enjoyed business growth over recent years through acquisitions and the development, refurbishment and construction of properties in its portfolio.
The agency has also won silver in the Northern medium lettings agent category at the Sunday Times Lettings Agency of the Year Awards 2012.
Clive Owen Corporate Finance, headed up by Angus Allan, has worked with John Paul and the team at Castledene since 2009.
