SAS Daniels Chester win Women in Business award
North West law firm SAS Daniels has applauded the head of its Chester office and corporate partner, Kaye Whitby, after she was named Business Woman of the Year at the Chester Women in Business Awards.
Women in the Chester business community were celebrated in the awards’ first year, and Ms Whitby won her accolade after a promotion to head of the Chester office for SAS Daniels earlier in 2013.
She commented: “I was delighted to have been nominated for this award, however to win is an honour. The Chester office has had a fantastic year so far and I firmly believe that this award is representative of the firm’s commitment to professional excellence.
“Chester’s reputation as a dynamic place to do business and obtain quality professional advice is growing rapidly. There are some great companies that are really prospering, and its inspiring to be a part of that.”
Jonathan Whittaker, Chairman of SAS Daniels, added: “We’re incredibly proud that Kaye has received the recognition that she deserves and believe that it is reflective of the great strides the corporate group has made in the last two years”.
“Kaye is a credit to SAS Daniels and I know I can speak on behalf of both her colleagues and clients in congratulating her on her award.”
The law firm also recently announced a partnership with a private client specialist Bik-ki Irving, while the team also worked with Chester basketball club, Chester Phoenix, to restructure the business to a community interest firm.
SAS Daniels has offices in Stockport, Macclesfield, Chester and Congleton.
