Leeds IT security firm make £4.2m acquisition
IT security experts Accumuli plc have announced the acquisition of Cambridge’s Signify Solutions Limited for £4.2m
Accumuli, which have Leeds offices, will acquire the UK provider of ‘Two-Factor Authentication.’
The Cambridge firm have a customer base of around 250, which Accumuli intend to cross-sell their own portfolio of services.
Signify’s customer base spans a range of industries, largely serviced by partners and resellers.
Gavin Lyons, chief executive of Accumuli, commented: “Signify is a business with a long and successful history in the provision of 2FA managed services; they have an outstanding reputation for delivering a secure, reliable and flexible solution. The 2FA managed security offering complements Accumuli’s market leading security portfolio and we now have the opportunity to provide additional solutions and services to Signify’s existing 250 customers.
“Given the growing mobility of today’s workforce, it is becoming increasingly important for all organisations to secure remote access to systems and information. Adding 2FA managed services to our established portfolio of IT security solutions represents the next logical step in our value proposition to help customers secure their business and reduce operating costs.
