Carlisle heating and plumbing suppliers land £40k investment

A Carlisle-based heating and plumbing supplies has secured £40k to help growth and create new jobs.

Tailored Heating Supplies (THS) has secured the funding from Access to Finance to build on their current trading success.

The firm plan to use the cash to grow their sales team and invest in an IT infrastructure.

Managing director John Trenell said: “This investment comes at a great time for us. Having established itself over the last 12 months, Tailored Hat Supplies is finding that the service it offers has been well received from the trade and all it needs to develop in a consistent manner is face to face contact! Working with Maria has put us in touch with the correct route to enable this.”

Access to Finance Specialist Advisor Maria Ramsdale said: “Tailored Heating Supplies is a classic example of how A2F can help businesses. John and the team knew exactly what they needed to do to grow and how that would help them build their business strategy for the long term.

THS work closely with installers through design, specification, installation and handover of their services and deal with small domestic customers through to hospitals, schools and care homes.

The Access To Finance (A2F) service is part of the Business Growth Hub (www.businessgrowthhub.com) and offers free and impartial advice and investment readiness support to businesses across the region that need to raise finance.

The A2F service, which receives its funding from the European Regional Development Fund, has a team of experienced and credible specialist advisors that work with new and established SMEs to help them become investment ready.
