Newcastle video specialists eye up online training market
North East video production company, Three Motion, are expanding into the online training market with the launch of a sister company and expect to create new jobs in admin, sales and marketing.
The Newcastle-based firm have invested £150k in Three Minute Trainer - an online training platform that uses their expertise in HD video and 3D animation.
Experts in specific fields lead video content which is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Through the product, Three Motion aim to remove cost barriers to training staff including travel expenses and shift cover.
Topics so far on offer include selling skills, featuring the expertise of Bdaily sales tipster, Michael McMeekin; setting up a business; health and safety; and tuition for those caring for people with Dementia.
Three Minute Trainer will target the SME and start-up market and hope to establish themselves amongst the growing interest in digital video content.
Jon Whiting, digital marketing manager at Three Motion, said: “We’re really excited to be involved in revolutionising the way small businesses can access affordable and accredited training from leading industry experts.
“Digital video has proved massively popular over the last few years for entertainment, now we are looking to use it to transform the way people learn.
“The video courses launched this week are the first of many that we plan to launch over the next couple of years and we aim to add training courses in a range of sectors, from business to healthcare. We hope to be a leading player in online video education.”
