Everyone’s A Winner
For the past fortnight, people have been waiting with baited breath for the announcement of the winning tickets from the grand raffle organised by lazy grace, raising funds for the Percy Hedley Foundation.
It was a dazzling, celebrity event when Anne-Marie Trevelyan, the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Berwick-upon-Tweed went to the lazy grace HQ in Rothbury last week to announce the 17 lucky winners from across the County.
Ian McAllister from lazy grace said “We are pleased that Anne-Marie agreed to make this draw for us, as she added a touch of glamour to the event. At lazy grace, we like to turn our hands to all things from websites to soapbox races to raffles. You could say that it’s our Getting Things Done ethos that constantly pushes us into new situations!”
The raffle and soapbox challenge have been raising funds for the Percy Hedley Foundation and hopes that this contribution will go on to help many others who use the services.
Julie Calvert, Head of Marketing, Communications and Income Generation at the Percy Hedley Foundation, said: “It never ceases to amaze me what people do to raise money for us, but this is something particularly special. The team at Lazy Grace have clearly been thinking outside the box.”
John Tait, managing director of lazy grace added “We’ve all had a wonderful time raising funds for such a worthwhile cause and we can’t wait to present them their money and see the smiles on their faces”
