Trio of contracts for North West's 4D Products

North West product design company 4D Products has secured a trio of major design and engineering contracts.

The Cheshire-based firm will provide services to the University of Liverpool, molecular diagnostics firm, Biofortuna and golfing equipment specialists, The 15th Club.

4D will work with Professor Toh at the University of Liverpool to support development of a diagnostic device to tackle Sepsis; a potentially fatal inflammatory condition.

The firm will also help Wirral-based Biofortuna to further automate their manufacturing process to meet rising in demand.

Golfing equipment firm The 15th Club have also employed 4D to develop a product that encourages stretching exercises for golfers.

Iain McCall, co founder and director of 4D Products, said: “We’re delighted to have been appointed to such diverse projects as these. It’s fantastic to work alongside ambitious people who are willing to invest in their futures.

“We are continuously securing contracts that differ each time and no two are ever the same. Our experience and expertise is growing across all sectors, gaining recognition for our ability to adapt to each project.”

John Leake, business development manager at Sci-Tech Daresbury, said: “We are delighted to witness the continued success which 4D Products is enjoying – it’s great to see such an innovative, high-quality business thriving.

“We have a consistent stream of success stories from the network of companies based on the campus and it’s always exciting to see them grow and succeed.”

The contract wins follow a successful 12 months for 4D Products. This has included a product the company designed winning an award at the Security Industry Association (SIA) New Product Showcase (NPS) earlier this year in Las Vegas, and the appointment of two additional product designers to its workforce.
