Keepmoat bristles with pride on award news

Four Keepmoat site managers are flushed with success after being picked as first round winners of the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job awards.

Keepmoat’s brilliant bosses Craig Russon, Lee Brooks, Mark King and Peter Moody, beat off competition from 13,000 site managers across Britain who had been entered into the awards.

A Pride in the Job award is the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive. It represents success for the site manager, his team and is considered a reputational boost for the building company.

Most importantly, homeowners who buy a Pride in the Job award-winning property can be reassured that they benefit from a high-quality home.

The fab four were chosen as first round winners after excelling during twelve months of rigorous judging.

The National House-Building Council scored the site managers on 37 different criteria including; construction planning, site tidiness, waste control, and health and safety.

Keepmoat’s site managers were chosen for their excellent work on the following new homes developments:

- Craig Russon for Friars Gate Castle in Mill Road, Dudley

- Lee Brooks for St. Joseph’s Place in Laird Street, Birkenhead

- Mark King for The Parks in Robson Street, Anfield

- Peter Moody for New Lodge Park in Kirstall Road, Barnsley

Keepmoat chief executive, Dave Sheridan, said: “Whatever job you do the single most important character trait which you can display is the fact that you take pride in your work.

“Craig Russon, Lee Brooks, Mark King and Peter Moody, have not only done fantastic work on four excellent Keepmoat sites, but they have also shown beyond any doubt that they take pride in their work.

“I’m not only immensely proud of them for being winners, I’m also extremely proud of all the Keepmoat builders, contractors and sub-contractors who have shown pride in their work on these four sites.

“Their excellent building work means future house buyers are guaranteed to live in comfort in a high-quality Keepmoat home.”

Site manager, Mark King, said: “It is an honour to be recognised for the work we’ve done in Anfield.

“It is a real team effort on site so this is also a hats off to every single person who has contributed to the success of this housing development.

“I hope whoever takes these homes takes as much pleasure in living in them as we did in building them.”
