North East telecoms and technology business Activ, is launching a new series of briefings starting next month called the Activ Academy.
The first in the series to be held at its head office in Balliol Business Park, Newcastle on 18 July 2013 will focus on companies using Microsoft Office 365 and discuss how it can help to reduce costs, improve customer service and protect businesses.
Ian Gillespie, director at Activ, said: “We’ve launched our Activ Academy to bring the latest business technology solutions to local companies in a practical and enjoyable format.
“The rate at which technology is evolving is astonishing and can be quite daunting for many business leaders so our aim is to offer an easy to understand and informal workshop with the goal of simply helping them to improve their business through the new software and hardware communication solutions that are available to them.”
The first breakfast briefing will look at companies, including Aston Martin and Yo! Sushi, that are benefitting from the latest technology on offer from Microsoft Office 365 and will share some success stories with businesses in the North East to show them how they can do the same.
Activ is also offering those attending the opportunity to find out how beneficial Microsoft Office 365 can be to them through practical demos of the software on various devices.
The Activ Academy will be held from 8am to 9.30am on Thursday 18 July 2013 at Activ head office, Balliol Business Park, Newcastle. For more information call 0191 270 6010
