Double Digit Growth and Company Expansion at Cintra

Gateshead based Cintra HR & Payroll Services, award winning UK leader in flexible payroll and HR systems, is celebrating weathering the economic downturn in fine form. Staff were overjoyed to receive a well-earned bonus as Cintra’s end of year results revealed double digit growth of its multi-million pound turnover.

This is not an isolated success: Cintra’s culture of care and service has seen the company enjoy double digit growth for the past twelve years. Cintra has also welcomed 8 new recruits in recent months, adding experience and expertise to all departments across the company: bureau, development, implementation and sales and marketing.

In 2012, Cintra rolled out its new single database HR & Payroll software solution, Cintra iQ, after 7 years of development. Cintra iQ will enable Cintra to compete much more effectively in the large corporate market (e.g. clients with 5,000 plus employees who are looking for self-service functionality) and is already successfully installed in 46 organisations.

Cintra is committed to being at the forefront of legislative and industry developments and has been working on two significant changes affecting the industry this year: Real Time Information (RTI) and auto enrolment: working closely with both HMRC and The Pensions Regulator respectively to ensure that it is able to help clients understand the new procedures and the responsibilities necessary for compliance. The Cintra Development Team has adapted Cintra’s award winning software to ensure that the new requirements are a seamless part of payroll procedure. We are delighted that 100% of our RTI submissions so far have been submitted without a hitch.

To cap off a bumper year, Cintra’s products and services have achieved national recognition, winning: Pay & Benefits Software Provider of the Year 2012 and The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) Software Provider of the Year 2012. Its CEO, Carsten Staehr was also named as one of the top 50 influential people in the industry by Payroll World.
