£81m for North West from Regional Growth Fund
North West projects have secured £81m in Regional Growth Fund money, which will create or safeguard 9,900 jobs over ten years.
The successful bidders include the likes of Salford’s Bright Future Software, Bolton’s Vix Technology and Liverpool’s Redx Pharma Ltd.
Around £290m private sector investment is expected to be leveraged over ten years as a result of the funding.
