US firm establish international sales operation in Newcastle

US integrated marketing firm, Swiftpage, have expanded their UK operations with a new premises on Newcastle’s Quorum Business Park.

The CRM and integrated marketing specialists are based in Denver, Colorado and will now expand establish Newcastle as their international sales and support operation.

Swiftpage support over 1,000 resellers and one million end users worldwide, and currently employ 300 staff in offices around the world.

Head of Swiftpage’s Newcastle Operations, Lindsay Boullin, said: “The new office in Newcastle is an important part of our exciting growth strategy. We’ve already created more than 30 jobs in the North East in 2013 and we’re looking forward to further expansion throughout 2014.

“Launching a centre of excellence in the North East is key to our plans, and we are thrilled to open our doors on Quorum – it is a people friendly location that will provide our staff with the facilities best suited to support a global business. It will also enable us to take on even more sales and support operations, to better serve our existing customers and business partners.

“Everyone here at Swiftpage is thrilled to move into our new office at Quorum. It will allow us to better facilitate our support, sales and training operations by doubling the square footage of our office space and supporting the technology required to deliver world class customer service to an international customer base.”

With Swiftpage locating on the premises alongside Home Group and e-learning business Creating Careers, the 31,000sqft building Q15 at Quorum is now fully let.

Quorum director Fergus Trim concluded: “The arrival of US based Swiftpage is an important new International inward investment for the North East. We are delighted that Swiftpage has chosen Quorum and adds another International name to our growing client list.
