Glamour evening raises £500 for Cash for Kids
Morecrofts Solicitors has helped raise important funds for local, disadvantaged children by hosting a glamour and beauty evening at The Secret Space, Water Street.
Over 80 women attended the event and helped raise £500 for Radio City’s Cash for Kids initiative, which benefits local children and gives the neediest of them a better and brighter future.
Those ladies attending the event were given the chance to indulge in fashion, beauty and hair exhibitions from Caroline Oates, Lancôme, Medispa and Star Salon, as well as chat to other representatives from Bikram Yoga, Strasser Creations and VGGV Creative.
Fantastic prizes were won in a fundraising raffle including a stunning piece of Claudia Pink jewellery worth £50, an overnight stay for two with breakfast at Hotel Indigo and a £2000 family photo shoot with the creative director and fashion photographer at the Collective Magazine.
Helen Broughton, Managing Partner at Morecrofts Solicitors said: “We’re delighted to have raised £500 for Cash for Kids, especially as it will be used to help some of the most disadvantaged children in our community. All the money raised stays in the area to provide a helping hand where and when it’s needed most.
“This was a fantastic event, with a great turnout, and we’re extremely grateful to all the local businesses that helped make it happen.”
