Anesco wins RoSPA Gold Award
Anesco, the UK’s leading energy efficiency solutions company, is celebrating after being awarded the prestigious RoSPA Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety.
The gold award has been presented as part of the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2013 and recognises commitment to accident and ill health prevention.
The scheme not only looks at accident records, but also entrants’ overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
For Reading-based Anesco, which works with homeowners, local authorities and businesses looking to reduce their carbon emissions, the award is just the latest in a line of achievements. The firm was recently recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing companies and is the seventh fastest growing cleantech company in Europe.
“We are very proud to have earned the Gold Award from RoSPA,” commented Anesco CEO Adrian Pike.
“At Anesco, we pride ourselves on being strongly committed to our values and our people and that means everything from their safety and well being through to professional training and development of staff.’’
David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “RoSPA firmly believes that organisations that demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition. “Anesco has shown that it is committed to striving for such continuous improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of an award.”
Dating back 57 years, the RoSPA Awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK. It recognises commitment to accident and ill health prevention and is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas.
