Leaders in their legal fields
Chambers UK 2014, the leading independent directory for the legal profession has recognised three lead partners at Harrogate firm, Raworths Solicitors.
Deborah Boylan, partner and head of the Employment Law team at the firm is recognised for the third year running. In the 2013 edition she was described as “marrying a good understanding of the law with a commercial knowledge of the situation. She gives advice on the legal position and discusses the alternative routes and outcomes to make the decisions easier.”
Deborah Boylan leads a team of four employment specialists at Raworths and joined the firm in 1998. Her experience prior to joining includes working in industry which she believes is a key ingredient to her approach. She is also an accredited CEDR mediator and a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. She specialises in employment law including strategic advice on all manner of human resources issues and dealing with contentious claims in the Employment Tribunal.
Simon Morris, head of Corporate at Raworths is recognised by the Directory as a leader in the field of corporate law and mergers and acquisitions for the second year running. Last year’s Directory said: “Simon Morris has been hailed for his commercial approach, his availability and for providing the level of professionalism and knowledge you expect from the Top 10.”
Partner Jonathan Mortimer who heads the Dispute Resolution team is recognised for his work in litigation.
