Peel Group reveal Liverpool dock offices

Property giant Peel has unveiled a new development at Princes Dock on Liverpool’s UNESCO listed waterfront.

The development consists of new flexible office space, which Peel said it has seen growing demand for in the city.

Named ‘The Quay’, the office space is based on the ground floor of Peel’s No.12 Princes Dock, and provides office space of between 100 sq ft and 470 sq ft.

Peel is offering short-term flexible contacts on the offices, with furnished and unfurnished options, air conditioning, shared kitchens, meeting rooms and one parking space with each office.

Ian Pollitt, development investment surveyor at Peel, said: “There is currently a growing need for flexible office space which new and small businesses can take without being tied into long contracts.

“The Quay is the next generation of our offices and plugs this gap perfectly – we are already seeing a lot of interest in the suites.”

Property manager at Princes Dock, Liza Marco, added: “We already have a number of large international organisations at Princes Dock and we are pleased to now be better equipped to cater to the needs of smaller and start-up companies too.

“The Quay will add to the already impressive office offer at Princes Dock and we look forward to welcoming more businesses.”

Occupants will have access to the offices from September, and will be in close proximity to two hotels, the Crowne Plaza and Malmaison, and sitting adjacent to the Liver Building.

The site is also close to the £6bn Liverpool Waters development on the city’s waterfront, which hopes to give a major boost to Liverpool’s economy.
