Stobart secure £75m biomass contract
Stobart Group have secured a contract to supply fuel to the Evermore Renewable Energy Plant to be constructed in Northern Ireland.
The wood fuelled heat and power station to be constructed in Derry/Londonderry, has attracted £80m funding, principally from the UK Waste Resources & Energy Fund.
Stobart will provide the plant with over 115,000 tonnes of recycled wood a year and is contracted to supply fuel for 15 years.
