Keyfuels site locator application now available on Blackberry
Leading fuel card and fuel management solutions provider, Keyfuels, has created a new version of its popular Site Locator application designed specifically for use on Blackberry.
Previously unavailable on the handset, the user-friendly application can be easily downloaded free from the Blackberry World app store. It utilises the phones inbuilt GPS signal and network location to identify the users position, generating a map of the area and their proximity to an appropriate station.
Users with operating systems 4.5 and 4.7.1 can download the standard 1.1 version of the app, but for devices running operating versions 5.0 to 7.1, version 2.1 featuring a handy new ‘Postcode Search’ function is available. This allows drivers to type in the postcode of a Keyfuels participating site and gives them the most direct route from their current location.
Peter Bridgen, Managing Director at Keyfuels, commented: ’The site locator application is a great tool for drivers to be able to quickly and easily find where the nearest Keyfuels station is to them, helping them to cut out unnecessary diversions and saving fleets money.
“The development of the application for Blackberry is part of our continuing drive to improve the service we provide to our customers and will help navigate the 1700 plus sites that make up the Keyfuels network.”
The application is also able to isolate stations that specifically tailor for different vehicles from HGV’s to LCV’s – ensuring that drivers can easily find sites that cater to their needs.
